The original piece was 5680px x 3120px before cropping and resizing. A key image came from Coopgreg at stock.xchng, with the bulk of the rest coming from my own stock. The idea grew from a series of four thumbnail sketches, and took about 12 hours to paint, about half of which was spent tweaking minor details..."
